Common use of Notation on Chattel Paper Clause in Contracts

Notation on Chattel Paper. For purposes of the security interest granted pursuant to this Agreement, Secured Party has been granted a direct security interest in all Chattel Paper constituting part of the Collateral, and such Chattel Paper is not claimed merely as Proceeds of Inventory. Upon Secured Party’s request, Grantor will deliver to Secured Party the original of all Chattel Paper. Grantor will not execute any copies of such Chattel Paper constituting part of the Collateral other than those which are clearly marked as a copy. Secured Party may stamp any such Chattel Paper with a legend reflecting Secured Party’s security interest therein.
