Common use of Note to Proposers Clause in Contracts

Note to Proposers. If a Transfer Station will be used to consolidate Recyclable Materials for Transport to the Approved Recyclable Materials Processing Facility the following paragraph will be used. If no Transfer services will be required, the paragraph will be deleted.} Contractor plans to Transport Recyclable Materials to the Approved Transfer Facility where the materials will be unloaded from Collection vehicles and loaded into large-capacity vehicles and Transported to the Approved Recyclable Materials Processing Facility. Contractor shall keep all existing permits and approvals necessary for use of the Approved Transfer Facility in full regulatory compliance. Upon request, Contractor shall provide copies of facility permits and/or notices of violations (obtained from its Transfer Facility Subcontractor if necessary) to City Contract Manager. If the Contractor is unable to use the Approved Transfer Facility, then the Contractor shall be responsible for making other Transportation arrangements. In such event, Contractor shall not be compensated for any additional costs. If the Contractor plans to change its Transfer method, Contractor shall obtain written approval from the City prior to making the change.
