Notice of New and Changed Positions. (a) The said job descriptions shall be presented in writing to the Secretary-Business Manager, or his/her designate, and the local chairperson, and shall become the recognized job descriptions unless written notice of objection thereto is given by the Union within sixty (60) days. (b) Where the Union objects, it shall provide specific details of its objection which shall be generally limited to whether, (a) the procedure whereby the job shall have been established has been followed; (b) the job description accurately describes the type of duties, level of responsibilities and required qualifications of the job; (c) the job is properly remunerated in relation to the existing wage schedule, and (d) any qualifications established for the job are relevant and reasonable. (c) If the classification and/or wage rate established by the Employer for such new position is revised as a result of negotiation or arbitration, then the revised classification and wage rate shall be effective from the date when the new position was established.
