Notification and submission. The claimant (you, a family member, or appointed executor) must notify the insurer of a claim as soon as possible after the event, but no later than twelve (12) months after the claim event occurring. If the claimant doesn’t do this, the insurer shall not be liable to pay any benefits under the Plan for such claim.
