Notification of Intent to Return. No later than seventy-five (75) days prior to termination of parental leave, the employee shall submit to the Superintendent written notice of their intent to return to a similar teaching position for certificated staff and a similar position for non- certificated staff, except that when a leave is scheduled to terminate at the end of the school year or the beginning of the succeeding one, written notice shall be given the Superintendent by March 1 of the current or preceding year. Failure to do so will result in the employee waiving their right to future employment in the District.
