Common use of NOTIFICATION OF NEW HIRE Clause in Contracts

NOTIFICATION OF NEW HIRE. ‌ The Employer agrees to provide each new employee at the time of employment with a form letter outlining to the new employee their responsibility in regard to Union Membership, and to provide the Union in writing with the name and address of each employee to whom they have presented the form letter, along with the employee's date of hire. The Union shall bear the expense of printing the letter, the contents of the letter to be such that it is acceptable to the Employer. The Employer further agrees to provide the Union, once a month with a list containing names of all employees who have terminated their employment during the previous month.
