Notification of Recall From Layoff. A notice of recall shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the employee’s most recent address of record. Employees will be given 15 calendar days from date of receipt of the notice in which to respond. In the event an employee on the recall list fails to respond within 15 calendar days, from the date of receipt or the notice is returned as “undeliverable”, the employee will be removed from the Recall List for recall and the DISTRICT may then notify the next most senior employee from the recall list.
