Common use of Notification of Return Clause in Contracts

Notification of Return. Teachers on any of the leaves described in Section 6-10 (Sabbatical Leave, Military Leave, Special Leaves of Absences, Teacher Exchange Policy, Child Care Leave) shall notify the District of their intention to return to active employment status by the February 1st preceding the school year of intended return. Failure to notify the District in writing prior to February 1st may result in denial of any request to extend the leave.
