- Notification Required. (a) (intro.) Unless a gas public utility is required to obtain a certificate of authority, it shall notify the commission of any of the following projects using the notification procedure in par. (b): (b) A gas public utility desiring to proceed with a project identified under par. (a) shall file a notification with the commission at least 15 days, or as soon as practicable, before it intends to begin construction of the project. The notification shall include a brief description and location of the project.
