NUMBER OF ORIGINAL COPIES Clause Samples

The "Number of Original Copies" clause specifies how many original, signed versions of a contract or agreement will be produced and distributed among the parties. Typically, this clause states that each party will receive at least one original copy, ensuring that all parties have a legally valid document for their records. Its core function is to prevent disputes over the authenticity or existence of the contract by clearly establishing how many originals exist and who holds them.
