Common use of Objectives Clause in Contracts

Objectives. The objectives of this Chapter are to: (a) ensure predictability, consistency and transparency in the application of customs laws and regulations of the Parties; (b) promote efficient, economical administration of customs procedures, and the expeditious clearance of goods; (c) simplify customs procedures; and (d) promote co-operation among the customs administrations of the Parties.

Objectives. The objectives of this Chapter are to: (a) ensure predictability, consistency and transparency in the application of customs laws and regulations of the PartiesMember States; (b) promote efficient, efficient and economical administration of customs procedures, and the expeditious clearance of goods; (c) simplify and harmonise customs proceduresprocedures and practices to the extent possible; and (d) promote co-operation cooperation among the customs administrations of the Partiesauthorities.

Objectives. The objectives of this Chapter are to: are: (a) to establish a framework to ensure predictabilitytransparency, consistency and transparency in the proper application of customs laws and regulations prompt clearance of the Parties; goods; and (b) to promote efficient, economical administration cooperation in the field of customs procedures, with a view to facilitating trade in goods between the Parties and the expeditious clearance preventing, investigating and repressing any violation of goods; (c) simplify customs procedures; and (d) promote co-operation among the customs administrations of the Partieslaws.

The objectives of this Chapter are to: (a) simplify and harmonise customs procedures of the Parties; (b) ensure predictabilityconsistency, consistency predictability and transparency in the application of customs laws and regulations of the Parties; (bc) promote efficient, economical administration of customs procedures, ensure efficient and the expeditious clearance release of goods; (cd) simplify customs proceduresfacilitate trade in goods between the Parties by the use of information and communications technology, taking into account international standards; and (de) promote co-operation among cooperation between the customs administrations authorities with relevant international standards and recommended practices such as those made under the auspices of the PartiesCustoms Cooperation Council.
