Common use of OBLIGATION OF BIDDER Clause in Contracts

OBLIGATION OF BIDDER. A. By submission of a Bid, each Bidder warrants that Bidder has inspected the site and has read and is thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents (including all addenda). The failure or omission of any Bidder to examine any form, instrument or document shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to the Bid. B. Special attention is directed to Article 2 and Article 4, “Insurance” contained at pages 00700-2 through 00700-4 in the General Conditions. The Owner requires (1) “Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance,” (2) “Commercial General and Umbrella Liability Insurance,” and (3) “Business Auto and Umbrella Liability Insurance.” For each of the required policies, the Owner requires “a certificate of insurance at least quarterly, a copy of the endorsement of the insurance company showing the Owner as an additional insureds, and a copy of the insurance policy declaration and any necessary endorsements.
