Common use of OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT Clause in Contracts

OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT. The Association and Management agree that prior to the implementation of this MOU and during the period of time it is being considered by the City Council for action, neither the Association nor Management, nor their authorized representatives, will appear before the City Council nor meet with the members of the City Council individually to advocate any addition or deletion to the terms and conditions of this MOU. However, this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the City Council to advocate or urge the adoption and approval of this MOU.
