Observance of Holiday. All eligible employees will be paid for the following holidays, provided said holiday falls on an otherwise regularly scheduled workday: New Year's Day, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇'▇ Birthday (third Monday in January), Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day (second Monday in October), Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and General Election Day (when applicable). An employee shall retain the right to observe any of the traditional holidays recognized previous to this contract by the application of "personal leave" time to that day. When a legal holiday falls on Sunday, such holiday shall be celebrated the following Monday and when a legal holiday falls on Saturday, such holiday shall be celebrated the previous Friday. Presidents' Day is always the third Monday in February; Labor Day is always the first Monday in September; Thanksgiving Day is the fourth Thursday in November.
Observance of Holiday. The Company and the Union may, by mutual consent, observe the holiday on some day other than the one on which the holiday falls.
Observance of Holiday. ‌ Requests to observe holidays on a separate day shall not be unreasonably denied. However, another mutually agreed day within thirty (30) days of the holiday may be taken instead of those designated herein. Holidays which cannot be observed within this thirty (30) day period shall be reported by the member to payroll.‌

If a holiday falls on a member’s first or second Regular Day Off, the last work day before the holiday shall be the member’s designated holiday. If a holiday falls on a member’s third or fourth Regular Day Off, the next work day after the holiday shall be the member’s designated holiday.   • Observance of Law Tenant shall not use the Premises or permit anything to be done in or about the Premises which will in any way conflict with any law, statute, ordinance or governmental rule or regulation now in force or which may hereafter be enacted or promulgated. Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, promptly comply with all laws, statutes, ordinances and governmental rules, regulations or requirements now in force or which may hereafter be in force, and with the requirements of any board of fire insurance underwriters or other similar bodies now or hereafter constituted, relating to, or affecting the condition, use or occupancy of the Premises, excluding structural changes not related to or affected by Tenant's improvements or acts. The judgment of any court of competent jurisdiction or the admission of Tenant in any action against Tenant, whether Landlord is a party thereto or not, that Tenant has violated any law, ordinance or governmental rule, regulation or requirement, shall be conclusive of that fact as between Landlord and Tenant.

  • Holiday Observance When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as the holiday.

  • OBSERVANCE OF THE LAW The Contractor shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations bearing upon the performance of its obligations under the terms of this Contract.
