Observations of Teachers with Five. or More Years of District Teaching or Related Service Experience Receiving an “Accomplished” or “Skilled” Rating 3.5.4.1 All teachers with five or more years of District teaching or related service experience who received a final summative rating of “accomplished” on the teacher’s most recent evaluation conducted under this policy will have the subsequent evaluation in the third year of a three-year cycle, instead of an annual basis, so long as the teacher’s student growth measure rating is average or higher per state mandate. The evaluation shall be completed by the first day of May of the applicable school year, and the teacher shall receive a written report of the results of the evaluation by the tenth of May of that school year. 3.5.4.2 All teachers with five or more years of District teaching or related service experience who received a summative rating of “skilled” on the teacher’s most recent evaluation conducted under this policy will have the subsequent evaluation in the second year of a two-year cycle, instead of an annual basis, so long as the teacher’s student growth measure rating is average or higher per state mandate. The evaluation shall be completed by the first day of May of the applicable school year, and the teacher shall receive a written report of the results of the evaluation by the tenth of May of that school year. 3.5.4.3 Consistent with the requirement set forth in the Ohio Revised Code, in any year in which a teacher is not formally evaluated, 3.5.4.4 Nothing in this Article 3.5.4 will prevent the District from initiating an evaluation cycle.
