Common use of Off-Campus Teaching Clause in Contracts

Off-Campus Teaching. The employer agrees that an employee teaching Carleton University courses, whether credit or non- credit, off the University campus shall be reimbursed for reasonable and actual costs of travel to and from the place of teaching, meals and necessary accommodation. Employees shall not be required to teach courses off the University campus if they have reasonable grounds for not doing so, but employees shall not unreasonably withhold consent.
