Common use of Official Statement Clause in Contracts

Official Statement. The District hereby agrees to deliver or cause to be delivered to the Underwriter, not later than the seventh (7th) business day following the date this Purchase Contract is signed, copies of a final Official Statement substantially in the form of the Preliminary Official Statement, with only such changes therein as shall have been accepted by the Underwriter and the District (such Official Statement with such changes, if any, being herein called the “Official Statement”) in such quantities as may be requested by the Underwriter, in order to permit the Underwriter to comply with paragraph (b)(4) of the Rule and with the rules of the MSRB. The District hereby authorizes the Underwriter to use and distribute the Official Statement in connection with the offering and sale of the Bonds;
