Offset Obligations Sample Clauses
The Offset Obligations clause establishes the right of one party to reduce its payment or performance obligations by the amount owed to it by the other party under the same agreement or related agreements. In practice, if Party A owes Party B $100, but Party B also owes Party A $40, Party A can offset and pay only the net amount of $60. This clause streamlines settlements between parties, minimizes the risk of non-payment, and ensures that mutual debts are efficiently reconciled without unnecessary transfers of funds.
