Old Notes Sample Clauses
The "Old Notes" clause defines how previously issued notes or debt instruments are treated under the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether existing notes will be replaced, exchanged, or remain valid alongside new notes issued as part of a refinancing or restructuring. For example, it may specify that holders of old notes must surrender them to receive new notes or outline the process for converting old obligations into new ones. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and prevent confusion regarding the status and handling of outstanding notes when new financial arrangements are made.
