Online Class. If you have purchased the online classroom, you will login into the student portal to begin the course. Please make sure you visit the Department of Motor Vehicle’s website to get a pre-registration code for your student. The website is ▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇. • Must have a pre-registration code to begin course • The student must be logged into the course for the full 30 hours per state law; IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE STUDENT FINISHES BEFORE 30 HOURS. • After the 30 hours have been completed the system will ask the student to take a final exam to complete the course. This is NOT the State of Colorado’s written permit test. • The student has THREE attempts to pass the test. The system will ask the student to wait 24 hours before taking the test again if they fail. Due to a State of Colorado rule, if the student fails three attempts, they must retake the 30-hour online program. • Please speak with your student about this rule, if this was to happen the student would be responsible for any further charges incurred. • After the 30 hours and the final exam is completed, the system will automatically submit that the student has passed the 30-hour class to the State of Colorado. This can take up to 48 hours from the time of completion. • A certificate of completion will be emailed FROM the State of Colorado to the email that is associated with the pre-registration code. • Go to the Permit Testing section for more information about the permit test.
