Open Source Libraries Clause Samples

The "Open Source Libraries" clause defines the terms under which open source software components are used within a project or product. It typically clarifies that certain libraries or code included in the software are governed by their own open source licenses, which may impose specific obligations such as attribution, disclosure of source code, or license compatibility. This clause ensures that both parties are aware of and comply with the legal requirements associated with open source components, thereby reducing the risk of license violations and clarifying responsibilities regarding third-party code.
