Open Source Licenses Clause Samples

The Open Source Licenses clause defines the terms under which open source software components included in a product or service are licensed and used. It typically specifies which open source licenses apply to various components, outlines any obligations for attribution or distribution of source code, and may require the user to comply with specific license conditions. This clause ensures that both parties are aware of and adhere to the legal requirements associated with open source software, thereby reducing the risk of license violations and clarifying responsibilities regarding third-party code.
