Common use of Opening of Bid Clause in Contracts

Opening of Bid. ⮚ The Tender Opening Authorities will open all the Bids received, at the scheduled date and time and this could be viewed by bidders. In the event of the specified date of Bid Opening being declared a holiday for the Tender Inviting Authority, the bids will be opened at the appointed time and location on the next working day. ⮚ In all cases, the amount of bid security and validity of the bid shall be scrutinized. Receipt of original instrument of bid security shall be confirmed by the Tender Inviting Authority. ⮚ The Bidders’ names, the Bid prices, the total amount of each Bid, the presence or absence of Bid security, and such other details as the Tender Inviting Authority may consider appropriate, will be recorded by the Tender Inviting Authority on. No bid shall be rejected at bid opening.
