OPERATION OF VEHICLES. 5.1 All cars to be cleaned inside and out by 11:00 a.m. every day with due regard given to road and weather conditions. 5.2 All drivers must ensure that they have change for $20.00 at all times. 5.3 No taxicab driver shall charge a passenger for: (a) the cost of proceeding to an establishment for change, or (b) waiting time while a passenger obtains the change. Provided the bill presented for payment is of $20.00 denomination or less. 5.4 No vehicles are to be left unattended with keys in the ignition. 5.5 No person other than driver will be in the vehicle while he is occupied with a paying fare. 5.6 Taxis are not to be left unattended when parked at a taxi stand for a period not exceeding 5 minutes. 5.7 Only authorised driver's with valid licenses can operate a taxi-licensed vehicle. 5.8 Roof sign must be removed from vehicle when not on duty or involved in an accident when possible. 5.9 Drivers to obey Municipal By-Laws pertaining to parking and use of street stands. 5.10 All drivers to follow provincial, H.T.A. & Municipal By- Laws regarding traffic flow and patterns. In particular backing up on stands is only permitted if it can be done safely and only to allow you to pull out and go forward around the car ahead of you. Backing out of the Westin Hotel stand onto ▇▇▇▇ and other such stands will not be permitted. 5.11 All roof signs must be mounted in the centre of the roof, forward to the mid-way point. This mounting will be either directly to the roof or by means of a centre mount strap.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. 4.1 The operation of Vehicles, including the pick-up and drop-off of Students, must comply with the Board's Transportation Policy, as it may be amended from time. The Board shall provide any revisions to such policy to the Contractor. 4.2 The Contractor must have a procedure in place to ensure no Student is left on any Vehicle at the end of a run and after drop-off. In no event shall a Vehicle Operator leave a Vehicle unattended while it is occupied by any Student. 4.3 The Contractor shall ensure that only individuals specifically designated or authorized by the District are allowed to ride the Vehicles. 4.4 The Parties agree that the Contractor shall have the responsibility to, and the necessary authority to, supervise and control Students on the Vehicles pursuant to such rules as are from time to time adopted by the Board or District. The Contractor is responsible for awareness of such rules. Such authorization shall not, however, include the right to remove any Student from the Vehicle before it reaches its destination or engage in any other act which is likely to result in injury or danger to any Student. In the event of disciplinary infractions by Students on Vehicles which in any way imperil safe operations, the Contractor shall require that Vehicle Operators shall stop the Vehicle and not proceed until discipline is voluntarily restored. The Contractor's office is to be immediately alerted via radio. The Vehicle Operator shall report, in writing, all such occurrences to the Contractor, and the Contractor shall notify the principal of the school concerned for action. The Vehicle Operator shall be in full charge of the Vehicle and shall allow no misbehavior. The names of any Students who misbehave or who cannot be managed by the Vehicle Operator shall be reported, in writing, to the appropriate school administrator and to the District’s designee. 4.5 The Contractor shall be fully responsible for the care and supervision of Students during the transportation services. The transportation of a Student shall be deemed to have begun when such Student boards the Vehicle and shall be deemed to have ended when the Student has departed the Vehicle at the appropriate, safe place. 4.6 Only Students attending fifth grade and above shall be allowed to be released from a Vehicle without adult supervision being present. To avoid any doubt, the Vehicle Operator shall only release a Student attending pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third gra...
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. The Vehicles will be used and operated by Customer only in the normal and ordinary course of Customer's business, not in violation of any laws or regulations (including legal weight and size limits) and Customer will indemnify and hold Ryder harmless from any claim or loss or damage arising out of any such violation. Customer shall conduct pre and post inspections of the Vehicle, complete required reports, and promptly notify Ryder of any Vehicle condition issues. Ryder will not be liable for any Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration ("FMCSA") violations or other citations for which Ryder was not provided notice.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. No vehicle except aircraft handling and servicing equipment shall be driven between an aircraft and its loading gate without prior approval of the Airport Manager.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. Applicant agrees that its vehicles will stop at the Airport only while in the process of waiting for or loading or unloading customers and that its vehicles will not be left unattended on Airport premises at any time except at such parking area(s), if any, as Authority may designate (see subsection (a), below). Applicant further agrees that Authority may designate curb areas at which vehicles of Applicant and of other Ground Transportation and/or Off-Airport Parking Operators of the same classification may stop, may change such designated curb areas from time to time, may limit the length of time such vehicles may remain at the curb, may limit the number of such vehicles allowed at the curb at one time, may limit the number of such vehicles permitted on Airport premises at any one time, and may vary such designations and limitations based on the time of day, the day of the week, the level of traffic congestion at the Airport, or other factors. Authority may establish and construct staging areas for vehicles providing Ground Transportation and/or Off- Airport Parking services, wherein all vehicles not actively loading or unloading passengers shall be parked and for which an additional fee may be charged pursuant to the Authority’s Master Fee Resolution. Staging areas are subject to change in size or location at the sole discretion of the Authority. Loading at the curb or any non-approved areas, except when expressly pre-approved by the Authority, may result in a citation, suspension, and/or revocation of Ground Transportation Permit pursuant to Section 20. The Authority reserves the right to temporarily change or move the authorized loading areas at the desecration of the Airport. (a) Permit Holders that temporarily store vehicles in the Old Air Cargo Lot (“OAC”), located at ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇, will be charged Ten dollars ($10) per occupied space, per day of parking. A day will be defined as any amount of time over two (2) hours that the vehicle is parked in the OAC. Arrangements for this service are required to be arranged in advance with the Landside Operations Office. Any vehicles parking in this area without preapproved authorization will be subject to applicable fines and potential removal from the premises at the Permit Holder’s expense. Furthermore, failure to arrange parking in the OAC in advance may result in the immediate suspension or termination of the Permit. OPERATION OF VEHICLES. Current policy is to be maintained in relationship to operation of school-owned vehicles, with teachers, coaches, and others approved by the Board of Education being allowed to drive the school-owned van and station wagon. It is understood that the purchase of additional vans or station wagons for the primary purpose of transporting students will be subject to a meeting between representatives of the bus drivers and representatives of the Board of Education to discuss the potential impact on working conditions of bus drivers.

The Vehicles will be used and operated by Customer only in the normal and ordinary course of Customer's business, not in violation of any laws or regulations (including legal weight and size limits) and Customer will indemnify and hold Ryder harmless from any claim or loss or damage arising out of any such violation. B. Each Vehicle will be promptly returned by Customer to Ryder's facility specified on Schedule A at the end of its lease term unless Customer purchases the Vehicle as provided for hereinafter.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. The Eligible Vehicle(s) paid for or intended to be paid for with the proceeds of the Funding shall be used and operated by Funding Recipient only in the ordinary conduct of its business by qualified employees, servants, and agents of Funding Recipient and in accordance with all applicable operating instructions and applicable Requirements.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. The Contractor shall ensure that caution is used in the operation of all vehicles and shall specifically instruct all drivers and other personnel of the following restrictions and requirements: • Collection vehicles shall not obstruct or block passage of other motor vehicles, except during collection of a refuse container. • Collection vehicles shall not be operated in reverse unless absolutely necessary, i.e., in the case of a dead-end street with no turn-around. • Each vehicle shall be equipped with all safety equipment required by State and Federal law. • Backing of vehicles is prohibited if school-age children are in the area. • Collection vehicles shall be inspected daily by the Contractor to ensure that all safety equipment, including back-up alarms and warning lights are operating properly.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES. Subject to the insurance requirements of Paragraph II of the Subcontract, Subcontractor agrees that the operation of vehicles in or about the Project Site by Subcontractor or the employees or agents of Subcontractor (including material delivery vehicles operated by material suppliers of Subcontractor) shall be as follows: (a).using only the designated entries to enter the Project Site, (b) using only established roadways and temporary roadways as authorized by Contractor, (c) no crossing of curbs or sidewalks without prior approval by Contractor and (d) observing a speed limit of 15 miles per hour within the entire Project Site. In the event the vehicles of Subcontractor, Subcontractor employees or agents, or Subcontractor's material suppliers cause damage to curbs, sidewalks, landscaping or concrete surfaces within the Project Site or cause any other damage to the Project Site, Contractor may effect the repair of such damage and Subcontractor shall be obligated to immediately reimburse Contractor for all actual expenses incurred by Contractor thereby.
