Common use of OPERATOR CERTIFICATION Clause in Contracts

OPERATOR CERTIFICATION. As the Operator of the underground storage tanks located at the above-noted location, I hereby certify that: 1. I am, or represent, the individual, trust, firm, joint stock company partnership, corporation or association that is in control of, or has responsibility for, the daily operation of the underground storage tank system installed at the above-noted location, and; 2. I will receive a copy of the annual permit to operate the underground storage tank system, and; 3. I have received a copy of the provisions of Health and Safety Code Section 25299 from the owner, and; 4. I understand that by signing this agreement, I become obligated to monitor the underground storage tank system as specified in the permit to operate and in the monitoring plan. I will also maintain appropriate records and implement reporting procedures as required by the permit, and; 5. I understand that this agreement must be signed by both the owner and operator of the underground storage tank system and submitted to this Agency prior to the issuance of the permit to operate.
