Option to Purchase Optional Shares Sample Clauses

The 'Option to Purchase Optional Shares' clause grants a party the right, but not the obligation, to buy additional shares of a company under specified terms. Typically, this clause outlines the number of optional shares available, the time frame during which the option can be exercised, and the price or pricing mechanism for the shares. By including this provision, the clause provides flexibility for investors to increase their ownership stake in the future, often in response to company performance or strategic needs, while giving the company a clear framework for such transactions.
