Optional Activities. The activities classed as “optional” in Appendix A can only be commenced upon prior written approval by RB.
Optional Activities. Sponsor will organize activities for residents such as exercise classes, trips, and educational programs. Participation by the residents in such activities is optional.
Optional Activities. During Your Trip there may be opportunities to undertake activities, which do not form part of the itinerary. Connecting Growth Globally does not endorse or sponsor such activities and makes no representations about the safety or quality of such activities or the standard of the independent operators running them. Connecting Growth Globally is in no way responsible for Your safety should You elect to enter into such optional activities. If You still elect to partake in an optional activity, You assume full responsibility for any risks involved.
Optional Activities. The Parties may agree in writing that Company continues with the pre-clinical Development of the Target Compound for a Collaboration Target for which the Stage Gate DPED has been approved, to achieve [***]. In such case, the Parties shall agree on an update of the Research Plan for such Collaboration Target, such that the Research Plan sets forth the [***] criteria and the data package to be provided by Company to Merck for the Research Unit Leadership Teams’ approval on such Target Compound being moved into clinical Development. Sections 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.5 shall apply mutatis mutandis with respect to such additional activities by Company, and the Research Unit Leadership Teams’ approval on such Target Compound being moved into clinical Development. If Company conducts such [***] activities, submits the agreed data package to Merck, and the Research Unit Leadership Team approves that such Target Compound be moved into clinical Development, Merck shall pay to Company an additional milestone payment of [***], such payment to be made in accordance with Section 7.2.4.

b. Assist the DEPARTMENT in obtaining information on products that may be the source of an outbreak;
c. Collect and ship outbreak specimens to UPHL.
Optional Activities. The EQR may also use information derived during the preceding 12 months from the following optional activities:
a. Validation of Member Encounter Data reported by a Contractor or PIHP.
b. Administration or validation of consumer or provider surveys of quality of care.
c. Calculation of performance measures in addition to those reported by a Contractor or PIHP and validated by an EQRO.
d. Conduct of performance improvement projects in addition to those conducted by a Contractor or PIHP and validated by an EQRO.
e. Conduct of studies on quality that focus on a particular aspect of clinical or nonclinical services at a point in time.
Optional Activities. A. For Cross-Cutting Epidemiology/Outbreak Capacity the SUBRECIPIENT may:
1. Detect, investigate and respond to outbreaks.
2. Assist the DEPARTMENT in obtaining information on products that may be the source of an outbreak 3. Collect and ship outbreak specimens to UPHL.
B. For Vaccine Preventable diseases the SUBRECIPIENT may:
1. Investigate potential cases of AFM by communicating with medical providers, laboratories and other partners, reviewing clinical information and submitting investigation forms to the DEPARTMENT.
2. Case investigation may be deferred to the DEPARTMENT.
C. For AFM cases the SUBRECIPIENT may:
1. Conduct six to 12 month follow up on confirmed and probable cases of AFM cases using a standardized questionnaire.

2. Work with the DEPARTMENT to ensure that all AFM specimens are sent to UPHL.

D. For staff training the SUBRECIPIENT may:

Optional Activities. For each MCO, PIHP, PAHP, and PCCM entity (described in § 438.310(c)(2)), the following activities may be performed by using information derived during the preceding 12 months:

During any Go Golf Tours (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational) trip, there may be opportunities to participate in activities or local events, which are not included in Go Golf Tours’ (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational) packaged trip. Go Golf Tours (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational) makes no representations about the safety or quality of these activities and events, or the standard of the independent operator running it. Activities may include, but are not limited to, vehicle/boat/aircraft trips, walking or guided trips, surfing, fishing, hiking, swimming, zip lining, and parasailing. Events may include, but are not limited to, local festivals, concerts, and organized events. You understand and agree that any assistance given by Go Golf Tours (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational)’s trip leader or staff to help arrange these optional activities is done in good faith and without any representations or warranties of any kind. Go Golf Tours (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational) does not sponsor or endorse these activities or events, nor can Go Golf Tours (Scotland Junior Golf Invitational) be held liable for any injury or illness resulting from your participation. If you decide to participate in these events, you do so voluntarily and should take precautions to ensure your own safety and you will arrange for payment directly with the supplier or independent operators of such activities, event or service.
