As COUNTY provides this training and assistance, it is expected that CONTRACTOR will ensure County contractor packets for each staff (eligibility to be on the premises, obtain secure badge for the building, login information for computer/EHR) be completed and submitted prior to working at Lotus. In addition, credentialing packets for staff will be completed within a week of beginning at Lotus All Documentation and billing training modules (CalMHSA, Smart Care, etc) are to be completed within 2 weeks of start date. 9.2. CONTRACTOR shall require all new employees in positions designated as "covered individuals" to complete compliance training within the first 30 days of their first day of work. These trainings shall be conducted by COUNTY or, at COUNTY’S discretion, by CONTRACTOR staff, or both, and may address any standards contained in this agreement. 9.6.2. 10.6. CONTRACTOR shall require that physicians receive a minimum of five hours of continuing medical education related to addiction medicine each year.
10.7. CONTRACTOR shall require that professional staff (LPHAs) receive a minimum of five hours of continuing education related to addiction medicine each year.
10.8. The CONTRACTOR shall submit an annual staff training plan to the COUNTY within 30 days of date of this contract and annually thereafter. Accomplishment of the staff training plan shall be documented in each employee’s file. Quarterly training reports submitted to the COUNTY shall contain:
10.8.1. Submit titles of trainings, training dates, and the number of staff in attendance. Identify if training is focused on Recovery Model, Family Engagement, Cultural Competence, and/or an Evidence Based Practice.
10.8.2. A brief description of the training.
10.8.3. Specific trainings on culturally specific and supported practices. Include with the Staffing Detail a list of language skills for interpretation that CONTRACTOR has available within the agency. If CONTRACTOR has administrative staff with these skills, please note this under “Administrative Staff” beneath the staff names on the Staffing Detail.
10.8.4. Include with the Staffing Detail anyone who can be considered bilingual/bicultural separate from bilingual only.
10.8.5. List interpreter resources that have been utilized during this past quarter, e.g. Language World, Tele-language, AT&T, Norcal Center for the Deaf and the frequency of their usage.
10.8.6. List efforts made to recruit and retain bilingual/bicultural staff or persons with lived experience.
10.8.7. Describe how CONTRACTOR adheres to CLAS Standards.
