Common use of Orientation Clause in Contracts

Orientation. When new employees are hired, they shall be given an orientation packet provided by the Union, and all new employees shall be introduced to Union leadership at the worksite during that orientation. Union leadership shall be given the opportunity to address new hires during this orientation for a reasonable amount of time to be determined by the parties at the local level; and the Employer shall provide a private office or conference room to hold the meeting, if available.
