Originating of Job Sharing Request. A Nurse shall submit a written proposal for job sharing to the Director of Care. This proposal shall include, but not limited to, the following: - Duration - whether it be for a specified temporary duration (not to exceed one (1) year) or permanent. - A description of the requested work/schedule allocation. - Where operational requirements permit, a job sharing proposal shall not be unreasonably denied. In the event the Employer has certain concerns about a job sharing proposal, an Employer Representative shall discuss the concerns with the job sharing applicant. As a result of the discussion, the job share applicant may choose to revise the application for job sharing. If a job sharing arrangement is approved by the Employer, the recruitment process will be followed as outline below.
