Common use of OSHA Statement Clause in Contracts

OSHA Statement. 7.5.1 CLEC, in recognition of SBC TEXAS’ status as an employer, agrees to abide by and to undertake the duty of compliance on behalf of SBC TEXAS with all federal, state and local laws, safety and health regulations relating to CLEC’s activities concerning Collocated Space, and to indemnify and hold SBC TEXAS harmless for any judgments, citations, fines, or other penalties which are assessed against SBC TEXAS as the result solely of CLEC’s failure to comply with any of the foregoing. SBC TEXAS, in its status as an employer, will comply with all federal, state and local laws, safety and health standards and regulations with respect to all other portions of the Premises, and agrees to indemnify and hold CLEC harmless for any judgments, citations, fines or other penalties which are assessed against CLEC as a result solely of SBC TEXAS’ failure to comply with any of the foregoing.
