Common use of Other Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services Clause in Contracts

Other Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services. The following methods of procurement, other than Quality and Cost-based Selection, may be used for consultants’ services under the circumstances specified in the Procurement Plan for each such method: (a) Quality Based Selection; (b) Selection under a Fixed Budget; (c) Least Cost Selection; (d) Selection Based on Consultants’ Qualifications; (e) Single-source Selection; (f) Established Private or Commercial Practices which have been found acceptable to the Association; (g) Procedures set forth in paragraphs 5.2 and 5.3 of the Consultant Guidelines for the Selection of Individual Consultants; and (h) Sole Source Procedures for the Selection of Individual Consultants.

The following sentence specifies methods of procurement, other than Quality and Cost-based Selection, which may be used for consultants’ services under services. The Procurement Plan shall specify the circumstances specified in the Procurement Plan for each under which such method: methods may be used: (a) Quality Based Quality-based Selection; (b) Selection under a Fixed Budget; (c) Least Cost Selection; (d) Selection Based based on Consultants’ Qualifications; (e) Single-source SelectionSelection of consulting firms; (f) Established Private or Commercial Practices which have been found acceptable to the Association; (g) Procedures set forth in paragraphs 5.2 and 5.3 of the Consultant Guidelines for the Selection of Individual Consultants; and (h) Sole Source Procedures for the Selection of Individual Consultants.and

The Procurement Plan shall specify the circumstances specified in the Procurement Plan for each under which such method: methods may be used.
