Other/Monitoring Clause Samples

The 'Other/Monitoring' clause establishes the right or obligation for one party to monitor certain activities, processes, or compliance aspects related to the agreement. Typically, this clause allows for periodic reviews, audits, or inspections to ensure that contractual obligations are being met, such as monitoring service levels, data security, or regulatory compliance. Its core practical function is to provide oversight and transparency, helping to identify and address issues early and ensuring that both parties adhere to agreed standards.
Other/Monitoring. The Parties agree that any monitoring of Restoration Project actions, other than the monitoring described in Sections 7.1 and 7.3 which may be required pursuant to the license for FERC Project No. 1121 will be done by PG&E at its sole cost.
Other/Monitoring. During the Project's construction phase, EPC contractors will monitor air quality, river water quality, noise, waste products and complaints. After the commencement of the service of the facilities, work will be conducted at the Navoi Thermal Power Station to monitor air quality, gas emissions, wastewater and river water quality, noise, waste products and complaints. The Executing Agency will coordinate with the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Committee established by the local government and with resident relocation consultants, and will monitor the progress of residents’ relocation and their lives after the move.
Other/Monitoring. The relocation process for local residents will be monitored by external experts as well as by the executing agency. The environment will be monitored by the executing agency and contractors while construction is underway and by the executing agency for air, water pollution, and noise after service starts.
Other/Monitoring. In the Project, the executing agency will individually categorize sub-projects in accordance with the legal system of Tanzania and JICA’s Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations. They will then take the required measures for the respective categories. Note that there will be no sub-projects classified as Category A.
Other/Monitoring. In the Project, under the supervision of the executing agencies, the construction work contractors have been monitoring anti-pollution, road traffic safety, and other measures during construction, and it is planned that the Port Authority and private operators will monitor anti-pollution measures after the port starts operating. The executing agencies have also been monitoring land acquisition and livelihood restoration aid. In addition, it is important to give due consideration to the involvement of the socially vulnerable people (including the poor, the elderly, female households, and people with disabilities) in public consultation with residents, surveys of their opinions, and conditions of their relocation sites (to prevent the relocation from making their social participation more difficult).
Other/Monitoring. In the Project, under the supervision of the executing agencies, the construction work contractors will monitor anti-pollution and road traffic safety measures during the work period, and it is planned that the Port Authority and private-sector operators will monitor anti-pollution measures after the port starts operating. The executing agencies will also monitor land acquisition and livelihood recovery aid.
Other/Monitoring. Project Management Unit No. 85 (PMU85) of the Ministry of Transport will monitor air quality, noise, resettlement of residents and other aspects during construction, and an operating and maintenance company during the service in operation. As of October 2012, monitoring was performed during construction, and it was confirmed that no particular problem occurred.
Other/Monitoring. The EPC and O&M contractors will monitor the impact on air quality, noise levels, water quality, and solid waste during the construction and operation phases in accordance to the environmental monitoring plan.
Other/Monitoring. In this project, with the support of project management consultants, GCPI’s environmental unit will monitor the quality of river water, groundwater and wastewater from soil disposal facilities during construction as well as use of port facilities.
Other/Monitoring. During the construction period, the contractor and the RTDA will monitor the quality of air and water and the level of noise. After the commencement of services, the RTDA and the contract maintenance company will monitor the quality of air and the level of noise. Moreover, the RTDA and other relevant organizations will monitor the resettlement process and its impact on the livelihood of local people before, during, and after the construction period.
