Other Tests. The following additional tests may be conducted at the discretion of Milk Department and where a result is outside the acceptable level an investigation may occur and collection may be suspended. A test for Colostrum may be conducted and a level of 0.3% or less is considered acceptable. A test of Freezing Point may be conducted and a result of < 0.512 ºC is considered acceptable. A test of Acidity may be conducted and a result of < 0.14% is considered acceptable. A test of pH may be conducted and a result of > 6.6 is considered acceptable. A test for Aflatoxin may be conducted and a result of < 0.50 ppb aflatoxin M1 is considered acceptable.
