Out-Letting Systems Clause Samples

The Out-Letting Systems clause defines the rules and conditions under which a tenant may sublet or license all or part of the leased premises to third parties. Typically, this clause outlines the landlord’s consent requirements, any restrictions on the types of subtenants, and the process for seeking approval. For example, it may specify that the tenant must provide advance notice and detailed information about the proposed subtenant. The core function of this clause is to balance the tenant’s flexibility to utilize the space efficiently with the landlord’s interest in maintaining control over who occupies the property, thereby managing risk and ensuring the property is used appropriately.
