HHS001324500027 HHS001324500005 The Pre-Admission, Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program supports prescreening all people, regardless of payer source or age, seeking admission to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility (NF), and has the following goals: 1. To identify people with mental illness (MI), intellectual disability (ID), or developmental disability (DD) and related conditions, including adults and children. 2. To ensure appropriate placement, whether in the community or the NF. 3. To ensure people receive the required services for mental illness or intellectual and developmental disabilities or both.
