Outside Teaching Clause Samples
Outside Teaching. A teacher on tenure may be granted a leave of absence without pay for one or two years to teach in an accredited college or university.
Outside Teaching. A leave of absence without pay may be granted for up to two (2) contract years for an employee who joins VISTA, or the National Teacher Corps, or who serves as a teacher in any domestic or overseas program or institution. Upon return from such leave, the employee shall be placed at the same position on the salary schedule and maintain the same fringe benefits as (s)he would have accrued had (s)he taught in the system during such period.
Outside Teaching. A certified, tenured teacher shall be considered for a leave of absence without pay for up to one (1) year to teach in an accredited college or university or as an exchange teacher or overseas teacher.
Outside Teaching. Employees may request a leave of absence to join VISTA, the National Teachers Corps, or to serve as a teacher in any domestic or overseas program or institution. Requests shall be evaluated by the superintendent or their designee and submitted to the Board with recommendation.
Outside Teaching. 22.01 An employee must have written approval from the ▇▇▇▇ to engage in teaching activities outside the Employer which conflict with the Employer's interests. Permission must be obtained from the ▇▇▇▇ on an annual basis.
