Overbooking Compensation Procedures Clause Samples

The Overbooking Compensation Procedures clause outlines the steps and remedies available when a service provider, such as an airline or hotel, accepts more reservations than it can accommodate. Typically, this clause details how affected customers will be identified, the order in which they may be denied service, and the types of compensation or alternative arrangements they are entitled to receive, such as refunds, vouchers, or rebooking on a later service. Its core function is to ensure fairness and transparency for customers who are inconvenienced by overbooking, while providing a clear process for resolving such situations efficiently.
