OVERHEAD SERVICE. Item 40.01.01 Furnish and install overhead service entrance fitting. Service entrance fittings shall be installed on top of lamppost or conduit leading to cabinet for overhead service, as specified in Drawing D-3837. Utility company will make splice to conductors at the weatherproof service head. Weather head installation shall include the necessary wiring from the weather head to the base of the lamppost. Where weather head is installed directly on a cabinet, item shall include the necessary wiring from the weather head to the relays, control, etc. Ground Fault receptacle shall be installed near top of lamppost or as specified by the engineer, and shall be similar to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Cat#5392. Payment shall be on a unit item basis and shall include all wiring and splices where required.
