Common use of Overheads Clause in Contracts

Overheads. 8.6.1. ELIGIBLE EXPENSES for the overhead are calculated at a standard rate. They amount to 10% of the sum of: - ELIGIBLE COSTS for personnel; - ELIGIBLE COSTS for operating, excluding overheads, subcontracting costs and equipment costs. 8.6.2. ELIGIBLE EXPENSES for the overhead costs are assumed to cover the additional costs linked to personnel performing the RESEARCH. These expenses include costs of administrative and support staff, and the variable operating costs not listed in the budget of Article 24 (Secretariat, furniture and office supplies, fluids, communications, etc.).
