Overload Rate Sample Clauses
The Overload Rate clause defines a specific rate or fee that applies when usage or demand exceeds a predetermined threshold. In practice, this clause is often used in service agreements or utility contracts to set higher charges for consumption above a certain limit, such as additional fees for electricity usage beyond a base allocation or extra charges for exceeding data limits. Its core function is to incentivize users to stay within agreed-upon limits and to allocate the additional costs or risks associated with excessive usage.
