Overnight Clause Samples
The "Overnight" clause defines the period during which certain obligations, rights, or restrictions apply specifically to the time between the close of business on one day and the opening of business on the next. In practice, this clause might govern how assets are held, how interest accrues, or what actions are permitted or restricted during this interval. Its core function is to provide clarity and certainty regarding responsibilities and limitations that are unique to the overnight period, thereby preventing disputes or misunderstandings about what is allowed or required when regular business operations are paused.
