Common use of Overseas Expenditure Clause in Contracts

Overseas Expenditure. Funding is provided for Eligible Activities performed overseas (where a good or service is consumed in an overseas location), but, in our reasonable view: (i) it is possible (and is relevant to your innovation) to perform the activities in New Zealand; and/or (ii) the activities are not integral to the success of your innovation project; and/or (iii) performing the activities overseas will detract from generating benefits to the New Zealand innovation ecosystem.
