Common use of OVERTIME AND SHIFT WORK Clause in Contracts

OVERTIME AND SHIFT WORK. Authorized work in excess of seven and one-half hours in a day, or seventy-five (75) hours a pay period, shall be counted as overtime work and will be paid for at the rate of time and one-half the employee's regular rate of pay. No overtime shall be paid to an employee who works excess of her regularly scheduled work hours as a result of a voluntary exchange of with another employee for personal convenience, (such voluntary exchange must be approved in advance by the supervisor).

No overtime shall be paid to an employee who works in excess of her regularly scheduled work hours as a result of a voluntary exchange of shift with another employee for personal convenience, (such voluntary exchange must be approved in advance by the supervisor).
