Common use of Ownership by Customer Clause in Contracts

Ownership by Customer. As between the Parties, Customer shall retain and own all right, title and interest in, to and under the Customer Technology, and Customer shall have the right, but not the obligation, to file applications for, and to control the prosecution and maintenance of, the Customer Technology and to enforce all rights therein. For the avoidance of doubt, Customer has no rights to improve or modify the Codexis Technology.
