Common use of OWNERSHIP OF DOCUMENTS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Clause in Contracts

OWNERSHIP OF DOCUMENTS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. Except as otherwise provided herein, documents, drawings, and specifications prepared by consultant as part of the services shall become the property of City, provided consultant has the unrestricted right to their use. Notwithstanding the foregoing, City accepts that any re-use of the documents or intellectual property shall be at City’s sole risk and liability.
