Ownership Restrictions Clause Samples

The Ownership Restrictions clause defines limitations on who may own, transfer, or hold interests in certain assets or entities covered by the agreement. Typically, this clause may prohibit ownership by competitors, foreign entities, or individuals who do not meet specific qualifications, and may require prior approval for any transfer of ownership. Its core function is to protect the interests of the parties by preventing undesirable or unauthorized parties from gaining control or influence, thereby reducing risk and maintaining compliance with regulatory or strategic requirements.
