Common use of Pact Duration Clause in Contracts

Pact Duration. 11.1 This Pact begins when both the parties have legally signed it. It expires after 12 months on completion of the warranty/guarantee period of the project / work awarded, to the fullest satisfaction of the Principal. 11.2 If the Bidder(s)/Contractor(s) is unsuccessful, the Pact will automatically become invalid after three months on evidence of failure on the part of the Bidder(s)/Contractor(s). 11.3 If any claim is lodged/made during the validity of the Pact, the same shall be binding and continue to be valid despite the lapse of the Pact unless it is discharged/determined by the Chairman and Managing Director of the Principal.
