Common use of Paralysis Clause in Contracts

Paralysis. Total and irreversible loss of use of two (2) or more limbs through paralysis due to Accident or sickness of the spinal cord. These conditions have to be medically documented by a Specialist acceptable to the Company for at least three (3) months. However Paralysis due to Guillain -Barré syndrome is excluded.
