Part-Time Faculty Contact Hour Generation Sample Clauses

The "Part-Time Faculty Contact Hour Generation" clause defines how the teaching hours of part-time faculty are calculated and recorded for administrative and compensation purposes. Typically, this clause outlines the method for converting instructional activities—such as lectures, labs, or office hours—into standardized contact hours, which may affect pay rates, benefits eligibility, or workload limits. By establishing a clear formula or criteria for contact hour generation, the clause ensures consistency and fairness in how part-time faculty contributions are measured and compensated, addressing potential ambiguities or disputes regarding workload calculations.
